CHARLESTON, S.C.—Big things are happening in South Carolina economic development circles, and the state’s economic development leaders are converging in Charleston for the South Carolina Economic Development Summit, presented by Womble Carlyle.
The program will be a fast-paced, interactive presentation on the Art of the Deal. The event’s featured speaker is Ford Graham, Director of Global Business Development for the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Graham is responsible for all project management activity as well as managing the recruitment of new industry to South Carolina and the growth of the state’s existing businesses. He is responsible for more than 70 projects statewide, resulting in commitments of more than 7,000 new jobs and $2.5 billion in new investment.

The South Carolina Economic Development Summit takes place Friday, May 22nd at the Daniel Island Club in Charleston. A golf outing will follow the lunch program. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.
