SANTA CLARA, CALIF.—On Oct. 29th, Womble Carlyle attorneys Mike Gencarella, Steve Clinton and April Mosby will greet the newest class of students at Santa Clara University’s High Tech Law Institute.
Gencarella, a long-time supporter of the High Tech Law Institute, and Mosby will discuss career paths in intellectual property law. Clinton will address career options in corporate and securities/transactional law.
Womble Carlyle is a sponsor of the High Tech Law Institute. Gencarella and Clinton both are Santa Clara Law alumni.
Mike Gencarella leads Womble Carlyle’s IP practice in Silicon Valley, where he works with some of the world's largest tech companies to establish and protect patents. He is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office, located in Palo Alto.
Steve Clinton concentrates on corporate and securities law, representing a broad range of companies. He has extensive experience in all aspects of corporate transactions and assists clients with the negotiation and consummation of mergers, stock sales, asset acquisitions and other reorganizations. He practices in Womble Carlyle’s Silicon Valley office in Palo Alto.
April Mosby is a patent attorney with more than 15 years of experience. Her experience includes preparing, prosecuting, and maintaining hundreds of domestic and international patent applications in a vast array of the technology areas. She previously spent five years as a patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mosby practices in Womble Carlyle’s Northern Virginia office.
