ORLANDO—Womble Carlyle attorney Michael Cromwell will speak at the BRC Global Standards Food Safety Americas conference, which takes place April 4th-5th in Orlando.
Cromwell will discuss “The Food Date Labeling Act.” He will examine how standardizing the U.S. food date labelling regulations to avoid consumer confusion and reduce food waste will impact food companies.
In addition, several Womble Carlyle attorneys, representing Womble Carlyle’s interdisciplinary Food Beverage & Agriculture Team will also attend and answer questions at the conference and its networking events.
Other conference topics include sessions on food fraud, supply chain resilience, corporate social responsibility and the FSMA.
BRC Global Standards was founded in 1996 by retailers who wanted to harmonize food safety standards across the supply chain.
