Womble Carlyle attorney Beth Tyner Jones is speaking at two upcoming workshops for college department and division chairs sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC).
The workshops take place March 29th-31st in Savannah, Ga. and May 18th-20th in Baltimore.
The CIC offers the annual Workshops for Department and Division Chairs to strengthen leadership at the departmental level. The workshops are designed to serve both experienced and new chairs of departments or divisions at independent colleges and universities.
The CIC is an association of 765 nonprofit independent colleges and universities and higher education affiliates and organizations that has worked since 1956 to support college and university leadership, advance institutional excellence, and enhance public understanding of private higher education’s contributions to society.
Beth Tyner Jones counsels employers on labor and employment matters, including compliance and risk mitigation efforts. Beth also is a leader in the firm’s Education Law practice, helping colleges, universities and secondary schools in meeting legal challenges specific to education.
