Womble Carlyle attorneys Jamie Dean, Aaron Pohlmann and Bill Womble, Jr.are contributing authors to the book ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits, 2016 Edition.

Pohlmann contributed to the chapter on the Eleventh Circuit, while Dean, Womble and recently retired Womble Carlyle attorney George Evans contributed to the Fourth Circuit chapter.

The 2016 version of the ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits is the sixth edition of the book and is an American Bar Association publication.

Jamie Dean’s practice involves complex civil litigation in areas including commercial and consumer finance, insurance coverage and bad faith claim handling, commercial real estate, products liability, professional negligence, trade secret misappropriation and employee dishonesty, contract disputes, and business torts.  He practices in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem, N.C. office.

Aaron Pohlmann focuses his practice in the areas of ERISA, employee benefits, employment, and life, health, and disability insurance litigation. Since completing a federal judicial clerkship, Pohlmann has represented employers, ERISA plan fiduciaries, third-party administrators, insurers, and managed healthcare entities in a wide variety of litigation. He practices in the firm’s Atlanta office.

Bill Womble, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney.
