GREENSBORO, N.C.—Womble Carlyle was the Platinum Sponsor of the Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers’ Scholarship and Recognition Gala, which took place Nov. 5th in Greensboro.

Attorneys Phil Mohr (Managing Partner of Womble Carlyle’s Greensboro office), Greg Chabon and Sonny Haynes represented the firm at the event.
The Guilford County Association of Black Lawyers’ Scholarship and Recognition Gala honored three attorneys for their contributions to the legal profession and Guilford County. Former North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice Henry Frye was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. N.C. District Court Judge Teresa Vincent was presented the Distinguished Advocate Award, while Justin Outling won the Outstanding Young Lawyer Award. In addition, two current law school students were awarded scholarships.
