AUGUSTA, GA.—This week heralds the start of the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, and while the world’s top golfers strive to earn a green jacket, economic development leaders from the Southeast are working to recruit top employers to the area.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development and state Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Red Carpet Tour during Masters Week. The Red Carpet Tour is a premier event designed to showcase Georgia’s thriving business community for potential industrial locations or existing company expansion.
Womble Carlyle attorney Stephanie Yarbrough was among the invited guests, as were dozens of national and international business leaders. Yarbrough works closely with domestic and international companies seeking to expand or relocate operations to Southeast.
