CHAPEL HILL, N.C.—Womble Carlyle Corporate and Securities attorney Anna Mills earned her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Now, she’s returning to her alma mater to share what she’s learned in two decades of private practice with the next generation of aspiring attorneys.
On Monday, April 3rd, Mills will teach a class on “Lawyers’ Opinion Letters in the M&A Context” at the UNC Law School. The class is part of the course “Life Cycle of an M&A Deal”, an innovative upper level course taught by Dean Martin H. Brinkley.
Anna Mills is a veteran corporate attorney who serves as a trusted advisor to clients ranging from large, multi-national companies to privately held middle market businesses. Mills guides clients in mergers, acquisitions, sales, corporate formations, expansions, financing, strategic investments, lending and other mission-critical commercial deals. She currently serves as Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Business Law Section and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Board of Governors.
